Director of Operations
Daniel Taylor MBA
Director of Operations
As Director of Operations and a member of the leadership team at Cambridge Consulting Group, Dan Taylor focuses on high-level strategic planning, new business development and long-term capabilities. He also concentrates on key HR functions, including employee recruiting, compensation, development and performance, as well as creating and implementing policies that align with the firm’s objectives. Additionally, he is responsible for interfacing with various legal and regulatory bodies on matters that affect the firm and its clients.
An experienced industry professional, Taylor spent several years at one of the area’s larger financial companies prior to joining Cambridge. Along with his Operations responsibilities, he continues to advise professionals and families on business issues and their financial planning needs, including asset accumulation, wealth preservation, risk management, retirement planning and estate planning. He also consults on succession planning and qualified retirement plan management. Dan encourages clients to get a plan in place as soon as possible in order to help achieve their financial goals, so they can be prepared for life changes as they develop.
Possessing strong interpersonal skills, Dan values relationships built on effective communication and trust, whether he’s dealing with clients or Cambridge employees. He works hard to “develop an understanding of an individual’s unique situation” so that he can propose the right strategies and solutions for that individual’s specific needs. Like many on the Cambridge team, he believes customization is key.
