Robert E. Vogelei
Roles & Responsibilities: As Partner at CCG, Rob has over 15 years of experience in the employee benefits industry. He works closely with clients to design and manage custom-tailored employee benefits programs for municipalities, closely held businesses and publicly traded companies located throughout the Midwest focusing on long-term financial planning and risk allocation as well as meeting short-term objectives.
Prior to joining Cambridge, Rob was an account manager at a major insurance carrier, where he specialized in experience-rated and self-funded medical plans. He currently serves clients from a multitude of industries including manufacturing, financial services, automotive, among many others. His knowledge of the industry from the carrier side is a great asset to his clients and the Cambridge team.
Rob joined Cambridge in particular because of its emphasis on client service and its capacity for creating custom plans for clients, believing there are significant advantages in creating plans tailored to exactly what a client’s needs are. He sees addressing the financial decision-making within the plan and employee wellness as the best ways to manage costs and works hard with his clients to implement strategies toward that end. “It is a culture shift that can be made,” he says, “and when they get there it is a beautiful thing.”
