In her current role as a Client Service Representative, Vera supports the Account Service Team in the administration and service of CCG clients health and welfare plans. She also serves as a liaison between clients and insurance carriers for general benefit questions, billing/claims inquiries and enrollment/eligibility changes and issues.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Assists teams with benefit plan renewals and other projects, including coordination between clients, internal stakeholders and vendors/carriers;
  • Assists in the preparation of all client deliverables including meeting presentations and open enrollment materials;
  • Serves as the day to day contact for client service questions and issues. Receives and responds to client inquires including benefit questions, subscriber requests and late notice management;
  • Prepares, submits and tracks new and renewal business materials including renewal paperwork, new business paperwork and other inquiries;
  • Manages client claims or billings issues; proactively communicates with appropriate carrier partners and client contacts to provide timely updates;
  • Maintains client and policy information in agency client management system, Microsoft Dynamics, to ensure the highest integrity of data;
  • Receives and processes client enrollment and eligibility transactions with multiple carriers via carrier websites, email or fax transmittals; and,
  • Manages annual client open enrollment eligibility and plan elections by processing any changes or updates with appropriate insurance carriers.
